Missouri Duck Hunting
The Duck Hunt
Missouri private wetlands hunting for self guided duck hunts.
This is a hunting season long Association of hunters that covers several Missouri wetlands. We have the ability to go hunting where the ducks are rather than pick one spot and hope they show up. No one hunter is limited to just one blind and the hope that one blind will work.

Early and Regular Duck Season
Our system is simple. One price for the Missouri hunting season to hunt any of the Association wetlands or dry land for waterfowl. Most watch migration reports and weather to determine when they duck hunt.
All hunting is self guided. The Association gets the hunter to the point of where to park his truck, step out and begins hunting. The hunter from that point on makes the rest of the hunt. Hunters provide all their own clothing, decoys, boats, camouflage and calling skills.
Association Private Missouri Wetlands

Permanent duck blinds, wade-in and layout boat areas. Full wet and combination wet and dry sets are available. Shooting pools at blinds require chest waders at most.

All Association Missouri wetlands are located within one of the three large sub-basins that comprise the Lower Missouri River Basin. These are the historic market flyway regions.
ATV use from the wetlands designated over the road parking area to the blinds and pools is permitted and very useful in some cases.

Duck hunters travel to their wetlands of choice and set their spreads as they see fit. No need for heavy equipment, no boat trailer access. Sets range from two dozen mixed to two hundred for ducks. It is the hunter's choice.

Field hunting can be in combination with water or 100% dry crop stubble hunts.
Late and Spring Goose
This Association has 200,000 acres of private hunting land. 70,000 of which is in Missouri's grain agricultural region. This makes the goose hunt more of a scouting trip then it's a shoot. A case where watching migration reports, snow line and local Missouri Department of Conservation reporting of where the geese are. Then it is a matter of traveling to that locality, setting up nearby and see if that spread and calling will work.
Who We Are
Mid-America Hunting Association has enhanced natural wetlands in Missouri since 1982. Blinds, wade-in pools, layout boat, combination wet and dry sets on marsh, sloughs, flooded timber and crop. The Association provides the Missouri wetlands resource and the hunter makes the rest of his hunting experience. Lodging is by local motel.
Hunters will be able to work directly with one of the two Association partners, Jon Nee or John Wenzel, to develop a hunt plan long before leaving home. Each duck hunter will know exactly where he will be hunting and lodging. That initial plan may be adjusted during the hunt adjusting to weather and migration.
All Missouri wetlands and waterfowl hunting land are available to all Association hunters through an online map library. These are road maps and wetlands wire diagrams. Each duck blind, pool and field is numbered. The hunter would make a telephone reservation to a numbered spot for the days he wants to hunt.
All will be hunting each day they have available.
Association Missouri Duck Hunting Value
